Walk with David Lynch
13 APRIL 2015

WALK WITH DAVID LYNCH AT GOMA: LYNCH BY NIGHT PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) will open their doors after-hours for special evening viewings of ‘David Lynch: Between Two Worlds’.

To be held on the final three Friday nights of the exhibition, 22 and 29 May and 5 June from 5.30-9.30pm, Lynch by Night is a chance for visitors to enjoy exclusive after-hours access to the ‘David Lynch: Between Two Worlds’ exhibition.

José Da Silva, Head of the Gallery’s Australian Cinémathèque and exhibition curator, said Lynch by Night would include talks and exhibition tours, complemented by a backdrop of ambient music by local and interstate acts.

‘These late night openings are a unique opportunity for visitors who may not have the chance on weekdays or weekends to see the exhibition at night before it closes in June’ said Mr Da Silva.

‘The advantage of having the Australian Cinémathèque at GOMA means that the exhibition can move between a traditional gallery space and a cinema environment, with ticketed screenings of Lynch’s feature films also showing during Lynch by Night.’

The award-winning GOMA Restaurant is open for dinner service from 5.30pm on Friday nights, bookings essential phone (07) 3842 9916 or email gomarestaurant@qagoma.qld.gov.au. The Lynch by Night bar will offer drinks and light bites from 5.30pm.
