Indigenous Intrudaz

Amon (Damien Bani), DCP (Douglas Patrick) and Zenay (Zenith Bonner) are local hip-hop act Indigenous Intrudaz. With lyrics that aren’t afraid of confronting the issues facing young Indigenous people, their message and music connects with a strong and loyal audience in their ‘hometown’ of Inala and beyond. They first performed at the Gallery as part of the opening celebrations program for the major exhibition ‘Story Place: Indigneous Art of Cape York and the Rainforest’ in 2003.
