a strong and vibrant brand strategy is
vital to the gallery’s ongoing success and
readiness for future challenges. after five
years as a two-site institution, we felt
the time was right to refine who we are,
what we do and how we engage with our
partners, stakeholders and audiences.
specialist brand agency interbrand was
enlisted to help develop a new visual and
verbal identity. interbrand has worked
closely with our marketing and design
teams to create a visually arresting and
unique expression of our brand that informs
and engages, and also celebrates the
ambition, respect, leadership and pride
surrounding the Queensland art gallery
and gallery of modern art.
our new Qagoma logo is inspired by the
concept that the galleries are two sides of
the same story. the design unites the two
brands and simultaneously celebrates their
differences. implementation of the new
corporate identity is currently underway.
