to celebrate the goma's fifth anniversary,
the children’s art centre presented
‘we miss you magic land!’, a large-scale
installation by australian artists pip & pop
(tanya schultz and nicole andrijevic).
inspired by the artists’ fascination with
creation myths and tales of utopia, children
explored a series of sugary lands of sequins
and coloured sands, and then played a
specially-developed multimedia interactive
to create virtual magic landscapes to email
to family and friends.
this project is the third in a series of
installations by contemporary australian
artists commissioned by the children’s
art centre.
