on tour
A QueenslAnd Art gAllery ‘on tour’ progrAm | JAnuAry–April 2011
across Queensland, children and families
participated in a free day of activities at
local galleries and venues as part of ‘21st
century: art in the First decade’ and the
21st century kids Festival. the festival
at goma was rescheduled to april due to
disruptions caused by the floods in south-
east Queensland in January.
21st century kids Festival on tour
featured activities for children and
families by artists Fiona hall, tony albert
and rirkrit tiravanija, and a record 47
venues throughout regional Queensland
participated in the highly popular program.
21st century kids, including the 21st
century kids Festival, was made possible by
principal benefactor the tim Fairfax Family
Foundation.
