a record 54 regional Queensland venues
participated in surrealism for kids on tour,
a program of activities and games inspired
by the surrealists.
children and families explored multimedia,
drawing and art-making activities to capture
their own surrealist vision of the world and,
in turn, discovered how some of the most
imaginative art of the twentieth century
was created. surrealism for kids on tour
was an integral part of ‘surrealism: the
poetry of dreams’ and surrealism for kids.
this project was supported by the
